The second generation of digital tachographs allows you not only to remotely read out and archive driver cards, but also your vehicle’s mass data memory. The FleetBoard TiiRec vehicle computer allows data to be downloaded and transmitted from the mass data memory via an interface to the tachograph. Handling is simple. The company cards are inserted in the card slot of a chip card reader at the workplace. Following one-off authentication and setting of the download intervals, downloads proceed automatically. The driver card download can be initiated on the move by the driver at the press of a button on the FleetBoard TiiRec. All data are stored in the protected FleetBoard Service Center for up to three years depending on national legislation. Stored data can also provide additional information on violations of driving and rest time regulations, missing downloads or speeding.
FleetBoard Tacho Management sets standards: Driver card and mass data downloads are DEKRA certified. This certification attests that the read out procedure, the telematic transmission and storage of tachograph data is complete, secure and in conformity with the law.
The Smart Card Reader (FleetBoard recommends Omnikey 3121), company card and analysis software (e.g. ZA/ARC) are not included in the scope of delivery.
